Our meeting was opened with an invocation delivered by Rev. Mark A. Craig, Pastor of First Baptist, Littleton. Then we all stood as we sang the hymn, " Another Year is Dawning ".

Program

Tommy McGuiness shared what his father had impressed upon him before he died.Tommy McGuinness, son of American Airlines September 11th Flight #11 co-pilot Tom McGuinness, gives an account of the close relationship he had with his father. Tommy shared how his father desired him to lead a Christ centered life. It was evident that his father left a lasting impression upon him. He fondly remembers the mornings his Dad spent with him and his sister Jennifer at Dunkin Donuts on the way to school.
McGuinness Family    Cheryl spoke next of the legacy Tom had left. She challenged us as individuals to think about the legacy we were leaving those in our families. She shared some of Tom's own words from notes he had been working on, giving us insight into the kind of person he was. She shared about how God had given her the strength to go on after September 11th and her journey to forgiveness. To learn more about Cheryl's new ministry to reach out to others click here.
